Easter Cards
These cards have a handpainted bird's nest with golden eggs, mounted onto a white handcrafted paper matter by needle and thread on the cover. The paint used is professional mica pigmented watercolour paint, which shimmers in the light! The inner sleeve is sewn into the spine of the card. The handmade paper is crisp white with flecks of flowers within it.
Kayla's paper is 100% recycled, rustic, hand crafted and hand-pressed. Her cards are made with hand made block print designs, recycled paper cutouts, and miniature paintings. Each card is unique and made with love, so no two are the same! The colour of the paper depends on what types of items she has on hand to recycle. Some are purely recycled paper, and other batches include scrap fabric, thread, dried flowers and herbs, and even linocut scraps!
