She Dreams of Owls
A word from Lydia:
"This is an expressive piece depicting a woman sleeping dreaming of an owl. Inspired by Henry Rousseau's style. I was thinking about the quarantine times, and thought as we withdraw inside ourselves, what will we dream, sequestered in our homes, losing sense of time and date. Perhaps we will travel in our dreams, like shamen, visiting places far beyond our usual reach.
The owl is a symbol of Athena goddess of wisdom. Perhaps she speaks to you through this painting. All my art comes with a letter of authenticity and is carefully packed. It also comes with the edges painted so you don't need a frame, though you can add one if you wish. The hanging hardware will be installed as well."
