Retired from a successful career in the corporate world and having completed a Fine Art program at Sheridan College, Frank is now pursuing his passion for art. Working mainly in acrylic, Frank's paintings are inspired by life, nature, light and colour: architecture, old vehicles, landscapes, and animals. Subjects that convey "Rural Demise" - broken down buildings, vehicles, and barns are areas which hold great appeal. Frank was born in Oakville but now calls Clarksburg his home and has his studio there. Looking for that perfect piece? Frank happily accepts commissions to create custom artwork. Please ask for details, as he would be happy to show examples and provide a quote.
"I continually seek interesting subjects to capture, both to challenge myself and because the imagery itself has great appeal for me. I've always been a fan of light and shadows, and I love the way light adds depth and character to structures. The morning and evening sun are especially interesting because of the shadows cast."
